Near and Far
By Ayaka Takao •
Dear Index Community, Near and Far,
I write to you, from a communal work table of the new Index Chinatown space with an afternoon coffee on deck. It is a weekday afternoon and a pigeon landing on the windowsill reminds me to look a distance, one preferably farther than the three feet that stand between my eyes and computer screen.
So, after writing this, I’ll do just that! I'm choosing a church on Baxter Street as a resting place for my eyes. I hope you have a chance to do the same.
Index is growing in the physical and conceptual: We have quite a few exciting announcements below, as well as a bountiful selection of programs built to enrich and connect. I hope to see you there 👋🏼
Warmly,
Ayaka
